Better day without a doubt. Husband FOUND his hearing aids IN THE GARBAGE!!!!! right in with the used coffee and coffee filter. How it got there we haven't got a clue but the lost is found. I am so relieved. SO today I have been working on a clam shell quilt with reproduction fabrics. I've got a long way to go and that's OK, It's coming so beautiful right now and it's less that a quarter done. Today is so much better - we ended up with 4-5 inches of rain overnight, the labs are so happy - water - swimming - WET!
Our granddaughter in law posted the new pictures of the little ones, Hunter and Emmelia. Those two are just growing so fast. Hunter had a really bad start to life - lactose intolerant and acid reflex. He just gave up eating and lost so much weight soooo fast. But now he is 7 months old and weighs over 16 pounds. All smiles, giggles and laughter just like a little one should be. His big sister is wonderful, bright and happy. We are so lucky in this crazy world to have such a wonderful family and so many great friends. They make every thing else seem less troubling. I look as some of my older friends who complain that there is nothing to do and no one cares. Sometime you have to start the caring and take the first step. i know, that's the hardest one but one foot in front of the other is the way Lewis and Clark explored the West. We need to explore our neighborhoods and families. Ask questions, take pictures, write our story. What will be left in the future when we are dust? Will our handwriting be here? Will our pictures of loved ones hang in the museums? I appreciate this digital age but there is something tactile about a letter, a picture or a book. Let's save our past to be touched and enjoyed by our future.
