Well, today it's typical November weather here in Maine. Cold, damp and raining Had a wonderful day, though. I went Shop Hopping (Quilt Shops not frog ponds) with a group of 6 quilters. We had a great time - shopping, eating, driving in the rain, seeing wonderful quilts and fabrics and ideas, OH MY~~~ We saw ideas. However, when i got home, reality struck. People I love my husband, we have been married for 47 years this month BUT and this is a BIG BUT!!!!! He has once again lost both of his hearing aids and please notice I said again. These are $2000 worth of making his days AND my days hearable. And now they are gone. Don't know where, can't remember when he had them last or really even when he had them. We haven't even got the last lost one paid for and now they are both missing. And to help the problems out, we are currently out of fuel oil because he has not been checking the tank by tapping it. Just looked and was the dial at 1/2 so we had half a tank of oil. However, because the gauge is know to stick at times, it has to be checked carefully. We had over a half a tank the beginning of the month and can't fill until it's below the half way mark. Well, it's now below that magic line, it's Saturday night and involved an additional $99 service weekend call. If it were just us, we could easily wait until Monday but my89 year old Mom lives with us. Now she is sleeping and has not knowledge of this and that's good. Sorry to be so down, this is not really me but sometimes a gal just has to vent!! I know it will all work out OK in dawn's early light and the good Lord will provide if I believe and I really do. Thanks for listening and travel save one and all. LOL
